Ortiz has been celebrated all around the majors this year, but this final homestand has been one long party for Big Papi. On Saturday, past and present Boston sports figures made their way out to honor Ortiz.

Ortiz came to the Red Sox from the Twins in 2003. He started the season splitting time with Jeremy Giambi and ended it as the decade's most feared 1-2 punch alongside Manny Ramirez. Ortiz then etched his name in New England lore by lifting the Red Sox to three World Series championships in the next 10 years.

The 40-year-old, who announced before the season this will be his last year, has added to his legend with an MVP-caliber farwell season.
