8 Displaced In Fire At Framingham's Windsor Green Apartments
Seven people and one baby were displaced by the condominium fire.

FRAMINGHAM, MA — Framingham firefighters worked on a fire at a condominium unit in the Windsor Green apartments that displaced eight people on Edgell Road, Tuesday afternoon.
Assistant Fire Chief Mike Dutcher said the call came in at 5:26 p.m. and was quikcly put out by firefighters. Dutcher called it a "Good stop by firefighters." Three units in the condo are uninhabitable and seven adults and one baby were displaced. Dutcher said all eight are staying with family. No injuries were reported.
The department posted a video showing firefighters working from the roof of a home on Edgell Road. The roof is charred and two firefighters are seen taking an axe to a portion of the roof.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
This is the second fire in the Windsor Green Apartments in three months. In February, ten people were displaced after a two-alarm fire tore through two units in the complex. The cause of the February fire was deemed electrical and damages from the fire were estimated at $200,000.
