FRAMINGHAM, MA — Framingham mayor-elect Charlie Sisitsky on Wednesday revealed his transition team, which will be led by the founder of a local opioid use disorder nonprofit.

Sisitsky won election on Nov. 2, and said in a news release he plans to take over for Mayor Yvonne Spicer on Jan. 1. Framingham FORCE founder Cathy Miles will lead a transition team that includes nine committees dedicated to different parts of civic life, from education to senior affairs.

The team includes a long list of well known Framingham leaders, from sitting elected officials to community activists. The members will suggest new policies and changes in government for Sisitsky to tackle when he takes office.
