Marian High Girls Cross-Country Team Ties Archbishop Williams, Loses to Bishop Fenwick in Opener
The Marian High girls cross-country team has just three runners, including a junior exchange student from China.

The girls cross-country season kicked off for the Marian High Mustangs Tuesday at Callahan State Park in Framingham.
Marian hosted a tri-meet with Bishop Fenwick and Archbishop Williams.
The small Mustang squad - just three runners - lost to Bishop Fenwick but tied Archbishop Williams, said Marian head coach Chris Collins.

The top Marian runner was junior Meghan Bubello who finished in a time of 22;12.
Junior Sherry Liu, who just joined Marian High this week as an exchange student from China - finished in 27:39 minutes.

Sophomore Cecillia Gai finished the course in 29:05 minutes.
