Traffic Alert: Roadwork In Framingham This Week

The following streets will be affected due to construction this week.

FRAMINGHAM, MA—The Framingham DPW sent out the following notice to warn residents of road construction this week in Framingham:

Coburn Street Milling Operation Roadway milling of Coburn Street is anticipated to begin at approximately 7:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 21, 2017. Traffic will be managed utilizing a one lane alternating traffic management plan. Police detail officers will be on site to assist with safe pedestrian and traffic movements through the work zone.

Roadway milling of Franklin Street is anticipated to begin at approximately 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 21, 2017. Traffic will be managed utilizing a one lane alternating traffic management plan. Police detail officers will be on site to assist with safe pedestrian and traffic movements through the work zone.

Once complete with the roadway milling, the construction crew will mobilize in the MBTA Waverly Street Parking Lot and begin work at approximately 7 p.m.

The Claflin Street Roadway Repair Project is a joint project between Framingham Public Works and Keolis. The scope of work includes the removal and replacement of rails, ties and pavement. This work is anticipated to begin on Wednesday, June 21, 2017. The hours of operation will be 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. or finish. Police details will be on site to help facilitate safe traffic and pedestrian travel. The road will be impassable at the grade crossing. Please seek an alternate route of travel.
