Fundraiser to benefit Boston Marathon Victims at poornima Trunk Show Spring Event
In light of the tragic events we faced this past week, poornima Trunk Shows will be donating a portion of the proceeds from Spring/Mother's Day Show to the Richard Family Fund at Salem Five.
To say the least, this past week has been very hard for those that not only call Boston their home, but for everyone as the effects were felt world-wide. In an effort to help those victims affected by the Boston Marathon Bombings poornima Trunk Shows will be donating a portion of its proceeds from the upcoming Spring/Mother's Day Trunk Show this Saturday, April 27th from 3-6pm at Nazir's Fine Jewelry & Gifts (135 Main Street, Wenham, MA) to the Richard Family Fund at Salem Five. (Please see link & details below)
“In conjunction with the City of Salem, Salem Five has established a fund for the Richard Family. Bill Richard is a graduate of Salem High School, Class of 1988; and a dear friend of some Salem Five employees. Not only did he lose his 8 year old son, Martin in the Boston Marathon bombing, his wife and daughter were also seriously wounded. The Salem Five Charitable Foundation is making an initial donation of $5,000 to kick off the effort.”
