• 2 Rescued From North Shore Lake After Car Wound Up In Water: Police (patch.com) — Residents in Hamilton may notice extra police and dive team activity around Chebacco Lake after an elderly driver and passenger were rescued when their car ended up in the water Friday morning. A good Samaritan helped them reach shore, they were treated on scene and are now home, and the boat launch has since reopened while police continue investigating how the vehicle entered the lake.
