Local Teen Serves Her Community
A local Hamilton teenager collects change for Acord Food Pantry via Gathering Change, Inc.
Michelle Morency, a 6th grader from Hamilton, chose Gathering Change, Inc. for her school community service project. In less than two hours Michelle collected $121.00 in spare change to benefit the Acord Food Pantry in Hamilton.
Gathering Change, Inc. brings together neighbors to help alleviate hunger by raising awareness, and by facilitating the collection of spare change and other funds to give to local food pantries. Gathering Change, Inc. teaches people they can make a difference, thereby creating a sense of community.
