Cemetery Records Now All Online, Searchable

It’s now easier than ever to find gravestones at Hamilton Cemetery.

Allison Jenkins, administrative assistant to the Hamilton Department of Public Works, said she started last year creating an online cemetery database.

“When I started in the DPW all the cemetery records were on paper maps or index cards,” she said in an announcement about the completion of the online records.

As of last week, the town of Hamilton’s entire cemetery records database is now searchable and online. The records are searchable by name, lot number and/or section number.

After finding the lot number and section number, all locations and map information is also available online.
