The Hamilton Wenham Village Merchants are planning a holiday event on Thursday, December 8, 2011 from 5-8 pm. The open house style event will be held on Railroad Ave., Bay Road, and Shoppes of Hamilton Crossing in Hamilton as well as 300 Main St. Wenham and downtown Wenham at the crossroads of Arbor and Main St.
The shops will be open with specials and refreshments while carolers will be serenading visitors. There will be a residential decorating competition along Main St. to ensure that the travel between the two commercial districts will be festive. The Council on Aging will also run a shuttle service for those who do not wish to walk. Donate a book at the Harborlight table, located at 300 Main St. and receive a complimentary chocolate bar.
