On Saturday, May 5 at 7:30 PM, Tabernacle Congregational Church U.C.C. will host “Peace Pipes,” a benefit concert in support of HAWC (Healing Abuse Working for Change). Fresh from their performance with the Chieftains at Boston Symphony Hall, Peabody’s North Shore Pipe Band will proudly partner with Tabernacle Church to support HAWC in their work to eliminate domestic violence and support its victims. In addition to the pipe band, popular Salem Celtic musicians Jen and Bob Strom will perform Celtic tunes on fiddle and guitar and dancers from the Calder School of Highland Dance will present traditional Scottish dance. Suggested donation is $15, Seniors and Students $10.
