Ladies … rouge your knees, slip a flask under your garter, grab your Daddy and join us at The Community House speakeasy “Club 284” where “Anything Goes” on Sunday, May 6 at 4pm. The Community House will transform itself back to its earliest days with a Roaring 20s musical revue featuring Wendy Betts and Share the Music. More than two dozen flappers and feds will hit on all sixes with such 1920s hits as “Puttin On The Ritz”, “The Charleston”, “Stairway to Paradise” and “Bye Bye Blackbird”. Audience participation is encouraged, as well as, period costumes.
The Roaring 20s revue is under the direction of Wendy Betts of Rockport. There will be some swell performances such as a Blues scene, Girlfriend scene and big medleys by Gershwin and Porter. If you can get past the Bouncer, (KNOCK ;) …), we’ll see you there!
