Gas Lines Being Replaced in Hamilton Neighborhood; Work to Last 3-4 Weeks
National Grid is replacing 1,600 feet of gas main under the road in a Hamilton neighborhood.

National Grid is replacing about a third of a mile of gas mains under the road in a Hamilton neighborhood.
The project along Fox Run Road and Tally Ho Drive will replace 1,600 feet of steel gas mains with plastic gas mains began on Monday, according to Charlotte McCormack, a National Grid spokesman. The work area runs from 33 Fox Run Road to 89 Fox Run Road and from 4 Tally Ho Drive to 30 Tally Ho Drive.
"The estimated timeframe to complete the work is 3-4 weeks, barring any inclement weather that might force us to temporarily stop work,” McCormack said. The project could also run longer if workers encounter unforeseen circumstances that would force National Grid to stop work, she said.
