Hear 'Soulful Music' at the Community House or Run a 5K This Weekend

1. ENSEMBLE GALILEI QUARTET

Where/When: Community House of Hamilton-Wenham, Saturday, 7:30 p.m.
Why Go: Fiddles, a Celtic harp and a viola combine to perform the music of Scotland, Ireland, Sweden and England "with energy, extraordinary musicianship, and a passion for traditional music."
Pricing: $15 in advance, $18 at the door
2. ENERGIZE THE EARTH 5K and 10K
Where/When: Lynch Park; Saturday, 10 a.m., registration opens at 8:30 a.m. on race day
Why Go: Celebrate Earth Day and enjoy a roadrace through Beverly, starting and finishing at Lynch Park. All the money raised at the race goes toward the North Shore CDC.
Pricing: 5K, $28; 10K, $35
3. YARD SALE
Where/When: Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary; Saturday, 9 a.m.-1 p.m.
Why Go: Check out the selection of everything from furniture and clothes to electronics and household items at this annual event. It is in the Kerr building, which is the large building at the end up the main driveway coming up from the Essex Street entrance, at the top of the hill.

4. HAM AND BEAN SUPPER
Where/When: Second Congregational Church; Saturday, 5-6 p.m.
Why Go: Stop by the Second Congregational Church for one of its regular ham and bean suppers, which also includes cole slawbrown bread, rolls and a beverage.
Pricing: Adults, $7; seniors, $6, children, $3.50
5. CAR WASH BY BEVERLY HIGH SCHOOL GIRLS TRACK
Where/When: Memorial building; Saturday, 9 a.m.-1 p.m.
Why Go: Get your car clean and help out the high school's girls track team.
Pricing: Free, donations accepted
