'Then and Now' Photo was Beck's Pond Ice House

The most recent "Then and Now" photo showed the Beck's Pond ice house in the late 1800s.

There was no winner of our latest "" historical photo feature.

All of the guesses were that it was an ice house on either Chebacco Lake or Wenham Lake. But it was an ice house on the lesser known Beck's Pond in Hamilton, located off Chebacco Lake, just west of Chebacco Lake.

Every guess was that it was either Chebacco Lake or Wenham Lake. Some people even guessed both lakes.
