In lifting the ban. Mansfield said he wanted to remind residents that the region is still under a drought advisory because of the dry summer.
"Although conservation is always necessary and encouraged, we are now in a position to once again allow watering, car washing, etc.," Mansfield said in the written announcement. "The Water Department would like to thank the majority of residents for complying with the water ban and for their understanding and cooperation."
