Work Will Cut Howard Street Water All Day Monday
Work to improve the water system along Howard Street will affect some residences' water service on Monday.

There will be no water service on Howard Street from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Monday, according to Hamilton town officials.
The town is in the midst of various improvements to the water system - mostly in the downtown area. The $5 million in work was approved by Town Meeting voters last year and has already , among other areas.
On Monday, work to replace insertion valves will mean the water will be shut of for nine hours.

"When your water resumes, should you experience discolored water, please turn on your outside spigots or run your cold water until the lines run clear," the water department said in a notice distributed to residents in the area and posted to the town website. "We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause."
