A canine dog, a family movie, and Bingo night are all organized for kids this week at the Hingham Public Library.

The has organized children's activities all week. Families can beat the heat, and take part in a variety of fun events.
1. Dog B.O.N.E.S. Reading Partners Program (Ages 6 – 10)
All Hingham children are invited Monday to the library to read stories with a canine-dog partner. Children will get the chance to read to a friendly fun dog. Canine reading partners can help improve the literacy skills of children, enhance self-esteem, and reduce self-consciousness so that children look forward to reading. Reading partners are scheduled in 15 minute blocks, and each child will choose which books to read to our therapy dog volunteer, Nestle. Registration is required.
