
Ryan D'Alelio of Hingham, a sophomore at Boston College High School, won the Greek I Oratorical contest at the 8th Annual Latin and Greek Declamation on March 4, 2013.
D'Alelio memorized and delivered a 13 line dramatic excerpt in Greek from Book 9 of Homer's Odyssey. He chose the selection which tells of Odysseus cleverly deceiving the one-eyed Cyclops by telling him that his name is “No one”.
