First honors certificates are awarded at the end of each semester during to qualifying students in Grades 7 (Class of 2013) and 8 (Class of 2012)  who have achieved an A- (90) or better average in all academic subjects, with no single academic or special subject below an A- (90), and Satisfactory marks in art, music, drama, shop, sewing, computer and other special courses.
