East School Makes Teacher Changes For Upcoming School Year

A few classes will have new teachers for the upcoming 2012-13 school year.

The has made some teaching changes for the upcoming 2012-13 school year.

According to East School Principal Tony Keady, teacher Caitlin Fahey will be joining the fourth grade team to replace Karly MacBride, who is taking a leave of absence for the upcoming school year.  Fahey was a substitute teacher in the Hingham Public Schools for the past school year and has experience teaching fourth, fifth and sixth grades.

Alyce Jordan will be joining the Kindergarten team as a special education teacher after serving as a para-educator, substitute teacher and summer school teacher in the Hingham Public Schools, Keady confirmed.

Also new this school year, Adam Derosier will be returning to East School to join the 3rd grade team after teaching fourth grade at East during the 2009-2010 school year. 

In an email, Keady said the class lists will be posted on the front door of the school on August 10 and the school will be mailing the kindergarten placement letters later this summer.
