The Harborwomen won their first game of the Division 2 South Sectional State Tournament last night, defeating Sandwich High School 69-56.
Hingham Freshman Sierra Irvin scored 28 points with an impressive 11-12 from the free throw line and 3-6 from arc. Harborwomen senior Co-Captain Katharine Alger also added 11 points, hitting three three-point shots.
Next, the No. 18 ranked Harborwomen will play No. 2 ranked Medfield on Thursday at Medfield High School at 7 p.m.
