Hingham Girls Basketball Advances to State Tournament On Final Day of Season
Last Thursday the Harborwomen defeated Silver Lake High School and advanced into the State Tournament on the last day of the season.

The Hingham High School girls basketball team dominated Silver Lake 47-32 on senior night to advance to the Division 2 state tournament.
In their last game of the regular season last Thursday sophomore Haleigh Welch led the way for the Harborwomen with a team high 15 points. Senior co-captains Katharine Alger and Taylor Potter chipped in with 10 points each.
The road to the tournament did not come easy for the 11-11 Harborwomen. Needing just one more win to earn a tournament spot, the Harborwomen faced tough South Shore opponents, losing to Scituate, 59-46 on February 10 and again on Valentine’s Day to Duxbury , 50-48.
