Hingham High School Greenhouse Fundraiser Tonight

REACH (Responsible Energy Alternatives Coalition of Hingham) will sponsor a screening of the award-winning documentary The Vanishing of the Bees. Suggested donation is $5.

A fundraiser for the proposed greenhouse to be built at Hingham High School will be held tonight at 7pm in the high school auditorium.

REACH (Responsible Energy Alternatives Coalition of Hingham) will sponsor a screening of the award-winning documentary The Vanishing of the Bees, called by some "the most important documentary film since An Inconvenient Truth."

The movie explores colony collapse disorder, a worldwide occurrence in which worker bees abruptly and mysteriously disappear from the hive. Although there are theories about what causes CCD, there is still no certain cause for this syndrome, although environmental factors are thought to play a part.
