Hingham Library Holds Story Workshops for Students
The four week program is designed to enhance students' reading skills.

Hingham students can now partake in storytelling workshops at the to enhance their reading skills.
Registration is now open at the Hingham Public Library for students in Kindergarten to fifth grade who want to enroll in a four week Building Stories Workshop with Big Ryan.
According to the Hingham Library, Big Ryan starts by reading certain children's literature that has influenced his own stories, and the group discusses some of their favorite stories.

Big Ryan also leads an open-ended discussion where each child gets a turn to add their own ideas to a story.
“By the final day of the series the children will have created their very own stories that they share with the group, family, and friends in a fun event,” the Hingham Library said in a press release.

Workshops will run for 4 weeks -March 6 & 13 and March 27 & April 3 - with two sessions each day.
Session 1 is for students in grades K-2 and will be held at 3:45 p.m. and session 2, is for students in grades 3-5 and will be held at 4:45 p.m.
Hingham parents can register their kids today at the library.
