The Hingham Mothers' Club is rewarding high school seniors who excel in academics and community service. Each year, HMC awards scholarships to high school seniors residing in Hingham. Both Hingham High School and private school seniors are eligible.  To qualify, the senior must live in Hingham, be entering an accredited college or university for a two or four-year course of study and have a minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA. For 2012, HMC will award scholarships to several high school seniors. Scholarships will be awarded based on merit and community service. Special attention will be given to the essay. Typed essays are easiest to read. A committee designated by HMC will meet and choose the winners anonymously. Interested applicants should complete the application provided. In addition, please include a copy of your high school transcript and a letter of reference. Incomplete applications will not be considered.
