If it Rains…Where to Watch Hingham High School Graduation

seniors will most likely graduate indoors as rain is expected Saturday afternoon.

In an email to parents, HHS Principal Dr. Paula Girouard-McCann said the weather is a major concern and if it rains,  Hingham’s 5:00 p.m. graduation will be held in the high school gymnasium.

Dr. Girouard McCann is expected to post the location of the graduation on the Hingham High School web site in the early afternoon. 

If graduation is held inside, seating in the gym is limited to three guests per graduate and there is  no reserved seating, McCann said.  For any extra family members , Room 103, the large lecture hall, will be open for anyone who wishes to watch the ceremony on a  large screen. 

Heavy rainfalls with thunderstorms are expected today after 10 a.m. according to the National Weather Service.
