Local Photographer Featured on Chronicle For Shots of Water Meeting Land
They may look like paintings and that's photographer Mike Sleeper's goal.
A local photographer is getting some notice for his long-format shots of places where water meets lands.
Mike Sleeper of Marshfield was recently profiled on WCVB's Chronicle on a segment on artists that get their inspiration from the water.
The show describe's Sleepers photos as one that "Puts you on the water with amazing detail, rich colors, and even movement." He told Chronicle that his inspiration comes from late 19th and early 20th century landscape artists and has a goal to make his photos look like paintings.
