• Pickleball Courts Construction To Begin Around December; Grand Opening Expected Next Summer (hinghamanchor.com) — Hingham is moving ahead with demolishing an old Bare Cove Park Drive building to make way for eight new pickleball courts across from Carlson Field, with construction expected to start this winter and opening by summer 2027. Funded through Community Preservation Act money and town reserves, the fully accessible complex will include sound-mitigating fencing after abutters raised noise concerns during earlier public vetting. 
• 'The Love Boat' Child Star You Remember Turns 60 Today and Fans May Be Surprised by What She's Doing Now (parade.com) — Former Love Boat child star Jill Whelan recently starred as Cynthia Murphy in Harbour Lights Theatre's production of Dear Evan Hansen in Hingham, showcasing a singing talent many TV fans hadn't heard before. Her appearance here was part of a limited run that mixed Broadway veterans with television performers, adding some Hollywood sparkle to Hingham's theater scene.
