📰 News we're reading
• For the Dover-Sherborn golf seniors, course experience is their secret sauce (bostonglobe.com) — Hingham's high school golf team is still undefeated at 14-0, staying perfect after three wins in three days over Plymouth South, Silver Lake, and Pembroke behind freshman standout Michael Rogers. The story also follows Dover-Sherborn's senior-led push toward the postseason, but Hingham fans will be most interested in how their own squad remains among Eastern Massachusetts' last unbeaten teams.
• Nudify apps are turning up in middle schools, and a new law gives parents a lever (morningoverview.com) — A recent federal law now gives parents 48 hours of leverage to force major platforms to remove nonconsensual explicit images of their children, including AI deepfakes. One of the first publicized cases involved a 14-year-old at Hingham Middle School, highlighting how these nudify apps are already affecting local families and what steps parents can now take.
