Sun shined down on eighth graders as they marched from the school's campus on Burditt Avenue, down Fearing Road, to the in Hingham Square to graduate. Marching with their teachers by their sides, and the school's underclassmen behind them, the eight graders were greeted by a throng of hundreds of parents, family and friends who showered them with applause. After the ceremony, the graduates gathered at Old Derby Academy for a reception with refreshments.
