Summer Camp Spotlight: JCC Early Learning Center Summer Program

An early childhood program at Congregation Sha'aray Shalom

Hingham’s hosted a summer program as part of its JCC Early Learning Center. The 32 campers ranged from 15 months to 5 years old, and participated in a variety of activities to promote physical, social emotional and intellectual development. The program ran in six, week-long sessions from June 27 through August 5.

Campers gathered at 9:00 a.m. and participated in a daily schedule of explorations, snack, outdoor time and lunch. The NAEYC-accredited program also offered a music specialist and a My Gym program, and brought in special events including the Pumpernickel Puppets and the Bubble Man. The program wrapped up at 1:00 p.m. each day.

The school year program begins on September 7; for more information visit http://www.jccearlylearning.org/hingham-jcc-early-learning.html
