The News In the Hingham Schools: September 27
Environmental awareness and new lunch choices made school news in Hingham this week

Environmental Action at St. Paul’s
Students at have been putting their green thumbs to use, harvesting potatoes and taking care of the school’s organic gardens from Holly Hill Farm. In addition, compost bins have been placed outside the school, and students are placing lunch scraps into containers at the end of lunch and then into the compost box outside of the school.
Hingham High Tries b.good
On Friday, September 23, local restaurant b.good brought its grills and burgers to for lunch. B.good, which got its start in Boston and has a restaurant at the Derby Street Shoppes, grinds its own steak from local farms in its quest to make fast-food “real.” The price for a b.good lunch was the same as for the regular school lunch. Did you try it? Send your feedback to Principal Paula Girouard-McCann at pgmccann@hinghamschools.com.
