It is with great pleasure that I announce my candidacy for re-election to the  in the upcoming May election.

Three years ago I was humbled by the support of voters on Election Day. I was duly appreciative of the support by my fellow Selectmen, in voting me Vice Chairman, then Chairman, in the past two consecutive years of my first term as Selectman.

Since my election, I have tried to uphold the values that are shared by our great majority and are in the best interest of the families, students, elderly, businesses, and single residents of Hopkinton. I am proud of the many accomplishments we have made in Hopkinton during my tenure, including improvements to the town’s fiscal health, investments in the education of our young, consolidation of resources to conserve assets, increased resources to support town infrastructure and public safety, and in our concerted efforts to create a climate conducive to the creation and retention of business in Hopkinton.

Despite these important strides however, three years since my election the nation remains financially unstable. I continue to witness close friends and neighbors struggling with lost jobs, lower paying jobs and higher costs of living.

I consider it my civic duty to continue to contribute to my community, and to help my friends and fellow residents by doing what I know best: Serve as a member of the Hopkinton Board of Selectmen.

I thank you, the voters of Hopkinton, for your support in the last election and over the past three years of my first term as Selectman. I respectfully again, ask for your vote, as I seek another term in the May 21st election.
