Crafts for Charity is a community-based craft sale and silent auction which is raising funds this year for the Lexington Food Pantry and Project Bread. The event will be held at the Lexington Farmers’ Market on Tuesday, Sept. 4th and Tuesday, Sept 11th. Assorted works – from jewelry and ceramics to rustic furniture and children’s toys – have been donated by local artisans and are available for purchase, with 100% of the proceeds donated to these anti-hunger organizations.
The Silent Auction – new this year – relies on the generosity of the Market vendors and features a wide range of their products and family-friendly activities such as a VINEYARD TOUR and a DAY ON THE FARM. Silent auction items can be previewed at the Farmers’ Market on Tuesdays, Sept. 4th and Sept. 11th, with the announcement of the winners on Sept. 11th.
Come spend a day at the Market and get some great things for yourself, your family and friends, and contribute to The Lexington Food Pantry and Project Bread at the same time.
