Juried Art Exhibit at Cary Memorial Library

Cary Memorial Library (Lexington, MA) seeks approximately 60 artists for a juried exhibit to celebrate the 300th birthday of the town. Selected works will be on exhibit in the library from March 1-31, 2013, included in a brochure and on the library website and can be sold. 

 

Painting, photography,  wood, textiles, paper art, and other media are eligible. All work should be suitable for hanging.

All works should focus on the artist's interpretation of the theme "A Community Creates."    

Artists may submit up to three pieces for consideration on a CD by Friday, November 2, 2012.  Each submission should include a high resolution (350 dpi, 5x7" image) of the proposed work, the intended medium, subject, size, and price (if being offered for sale), their name and address, website, and a brief artistic statement (150 words max).
