An introduction to Photoshop for photographers, the class will cover working with raw files in Abobe Camera Raw, Bridge, or Lightroom; using layers and masks in Photoshop; sharpening, noise control, and local contrast adjustments.

Al Zabin is a photographer, educator, and a member of the Photography Guild. He has taught this Photoshop class several times to members of the Boston Camera Society. Al has been a passionate photographer since about age 10. His compositions explore the strong abstract elements found in realistic subject matter, emphasizing contrasts in light, color, and texture with repeating shapes and patterns. Al brings his love of the sea, and especially the Maine coast, to his photographs. He makes his own prints with archival inks and papers.
