Students Invited for Exclusive Free Day at National Cable Show Event in Boston

The National Cable & Telecommunications Association (NCTA) is offering local college students free one-day access to attend The Cable Show 2012, NCTA’s 61st annual Convention and International Exposition taking place May 21-23, 2012, at the Boston Convention & Exposition Center.

This year’s event will feature influential figures in technology, sports and media, including TBS superstar Conan O’Brien, television journalist Piers Morgan, NBA Commissioner David Stern and NCTA President Michael Powell.

The Cable Show is North America’s largest annual convention for the broadband and pay TV industry featuring a variety of live events including a mobile applications showcase, live application developers competition, and a local tech start-up exhibition.   • Exclusive General Sessions: Some of the most influential figures in entertainment, sports, business and politics take the stage at The Cable Show 2012. Featured guests include; TBS superstar Conan O'Brien, National Basketball Association Commissioner, David Stern, Time Warner Chairman & CEO, Jeffrey Bewkes and the Chairman of the Federal Communications Commission, Julius Genachowski.
  • An Innovation Showcase: Imagine Park is The Cable Show’s open-air, live-events stage for product introductions, demonstrations and conversations about the ideas that are fueling new possibilities in cable-powered communications.
