Massachusetts' Best Public High Schools Ranked

A new list compiled by Niche.com, an information service provider, ranks the MA's best public high schools.

Now that the Commonwealth’s best private high schools have been ranked, its time to turn attention to Massachusetts’ top public high schools.

A new list compiled by Niche.com, an information service provider, ranks the state’s best public high schools. Below is the list of the top 25, which are scattered across the state. The remainder of the top-100 can be found via the link below.

Lexington High School was voted the state’s best public high school, and the country’s 54th-best public high school. Brookline High School was ranked the 87th best public high school in the country, and Boston Latin was ranked as America’s 89th-best high school.

According to Niche.com, the ranking is “based on statistics, student and parent reviews, and expert insights. Ranking factors include SAT/ACT scores, the quality of colleges that students consider, student-teacher ratio, student and parent reviews, and more.”
