Vote By Mail Information For State Primary In Town Of Lexington On September 1
In-person early voting, and in person voting on primary day options will still be available.

Due to COVID‐19 precautions, the Town Clerk’s Office is suggesting you Vote by Mail for the September 1 State primary. In-person early voting, and in person voting on primary day options will still be available.

All registered voters were sent an Early “Vote by Mail” application during the week of July 15th (unless they had already applied for an absentee ballot).
- Fill out the postcard
- Sign it
- If you are an Unenrolled voter, indicate your Party ballot choice.
- Send back your postcard application as soon as possible. There are a few options for returning the application:
- Your application is prepaid and preaddressed; simply put it in a USPS postal box
- You can also put it in our secure Town Clerk’s Mailbox in the circle in front of the Town Office Building, 1625 Massachusetts Avenue.
- Email it to us: ballots@lexingtonma.gov
- Fax it to us: 781‐861‐2754.
Ballots will be sent out as soon as we receive them from the State, on or about the first week in August.

Deadlines
- The deadline to submit your early Vote by Mail application to the Town Clerk’s Office is Wednesday, August 26 at 5 p.m.; however, please try to get it to us as soon as possible.
- The deadline to submit your Early voted ballot is 8 p.m. on the Primary Election Day, Tuesday, September 1, 2020. It must be returned to the Town Clerk’s Office, or put in our mailbox.
Again, please try to get it to us as soon as possible. Once you have voted Early, you may not vote on Election Day.
