Pop-country artist Krista Angelucci makes her solo debut at Rain Country! Doors at 7pm. DJ music and line-dancing! SHOW TIME: 9:30PM. 21+/$5 cover charge.

Pop-country artist Krista Angelucci wrote and recorded her debut album “Like it or Not” in Nashville, Tenn., and is embarking on a promotional tour to share her music with the dedicated New England fan base she has built over the past three years. Krista Angelucci makes her official solo debut at Rain Country on Friday, March 22, 2013 at 9:30pm. Tickets are $5 and the show is 21 plus. Angelucci will be performing her original music, along with some popular country favorites and hits with her full band.
Angelucci’s powerful, soulful voice and high-energy performances capture the attention of an audience instantly, and her passion for the music is evident. She has performed for crowds of thousands of people in Boston and throughout New England since 2009. Her on-stage performance packs a powerful punch of energy, heart and soul with every song.
“It’s always been my dream to share my music with the world and be on stage,” Angelucci said. “I am excited to be making my dreams into a reality.”
Angelucci has opened for and shared the stage with country music artists such as Phil Vassar, Lee Brice, Big & Rich, Hunter Hayes, Chris Cagle, Jerrod Niemann, Neal McCoy and Kip Moore. She has competed in many local and national singing competitions, and was named the New Hampshire and New England Country Female Entertainer of 2009, winner of Stars Over Boston, Charlie Horse Idol, Lowell Spinners Idol and South Shore Idol in 2010, and winner of Bear Country 95.3’s Texaco Country Showdown in 2011.

Growing up just north of Boston in Billerica, Mass, Angelucci has had the honor of performing the national anthem at many area sports teams including the Boston Celtics, New England Patriots, and New England Revolution.
Angelucci recorded her debut album titled “Like it or Not” in Nashville with engineer Aaron Chmielewski, who has worked with many major artists such as Taylor Swift, Phil Vassar, and Sugarland. Krista has written and co-written several songs on the album, including the title-track “Like it Or Not”.
“Recording my album in Nashville was an amazing experience,” said Angelucci. “Nashville is the heart of country music, and I love that I get to bring those influences back home to Boston.”

The six-song debut album gives Angelucci’s fans a little bit of everything—from the upbeat and edgy “Like it or Not” to the sweet ballad “Sunset”, Angelucci shares life experiences and stories through her lyrics. The playful “C.R.E.E.P.” talks about the dating game of the bar scene, and in the sassy “Get the Girl”, Angelucci sets the record straight on how a real gentleman can win her over in a few simple steps.
“I feel that with country music, you can sing about anything-- love, faith, a broken heart—things I’ve experienced in life so far,” said Angelucci.
