MALDEN, MA β A new Chinese restaurant has arrived in Malden, marking the businessβs first venture in Massachusetts.
Sing Choi Kee is a Hong Kong-style cafe that officially opened its doors on Friday, Jan. 30 at its location on 7 Pleasant St. The eatery is located not far from the downtown area of the city and directly adjacent to the MBTAβs Malden Center orange line station.
The business was founded six years ago when its first location opened in Fujian, China and has since expanded to having more than 20 locations in that country. In November 2023, it ventured overseas to the United States with the launch of its Flushing location in the New York City neighborhood of Queens. The opening of the Malden location coincides with the start of two other New York locations in West Nyack and Albany.
