The Malden High School Breast Cancer Awareness Club is participating in the American Cancer Society Daffodil Days. Supporting the Daffodil Days program allows the American Cancer Society to save lives from cancer and create more birthdays by helping people stay well, helping people get well, by finding cures, and by fighting back. Contributions to the Society help them continue to provide tips and tools, helping people reduce their risk of cancer, provide free patient services and around-the-clock guidance, fund and conduct groundbreaking research into cancer’s causes and cures, and work with lawmakers to pass laws that defeat cancer.
The MHS Breast Cancer Awareness Club hopes that their efforts can make a difference in someday achieving a world where cancer never steals another year from anyone’s life. In support of Breast Cancer Awareness, Malden Athletics takes the fight to the basketball court Friday, February 11th, 2011 when Malden High School Girls Basketball hosts a Pink-Out game against their rivals, the Medford Mustangs. The varsity game gets underway at 7:00 P.M. (JV at 5:30 P.M.) in the Malden High School Finn Gym, 77 Salem St., Malden, MA.
