Will it rain today? Got a coin to flip? Today’s weather would sorely test the resolve of the betting types among us. The National Weather Service thinks Malden has a 50percent chance of rain, with a high temperature around 56 degrees.

Best Buddies: Congratulations to the team members at Ablevision, who headed down to the annual Best Buddies game at Harvard Stadium. While there, they were able to score an interview with New England Patriots Quarterback Tom Brady and Wide Receiver Wes Welker. Stars and Stripes Forever: Today is Flag Day, and Malden will honor the nation’s standard with a ceremony at Bell Rock Park. The 5 p.m. event will feature music, speakers and essays on the flag.
