Malden Deserves One Big 'Thank You!'
We appreciate all of the readership and engagement. So allow us to take you under the hood of Malden Patch.
Hey, Malden. It's me, your friendly neighborhood Patch editor. I want to have a quick chat and say "Thank you!" in celebration of one year since I moved to the area.
As we've recently ramped up coverage on hyperlocal happenings around town, I wanted to give you a sneak peek "under the hood" of Malden Patch. Why? Well for every reader who tells me they love their daily Patch intake, there's another one asking me what exactly Patch is and how we do our thing.
Patch tries to keep you updated of what's going on around Malden. Some of it is vitally important, some of it may have more of a niche audience, but it's all meant to be locally enriching. Some examples:

- We shined a light on what started as misinformed rumors about a special education student being left on a bus for hours.
- We attend the meetings so you don't have to. Here are the details on a major upcoming improvement project at Oak Grove.
- We are all over local elections, from candidate forums to the real-time winner and results.
- And we're definitely not above a smile. Remember when this toddler was given a "cuteness warning" for driving without a license?
