Malden HS Re-Dedication Ceremony Next Friday
Speakers and performers will formally end over $77 mllion in renovations for the school, with 90 percent of its funding from federal grants.
All are invited to a program of student musical presentations and light refreshments in 's Jenkins Auditorium at 9 a.m. next Friday, where Mayor Richard Howard and others will host a re-dedication of the school at 9 a.m.
The event caps off over $77 million in renovations, including a new science wing, two remodeled cafeterias, a revamped main entryway to the school and several energy-efficient improvements to the school electrician and heating systems.
The school also installed over 100 interactive whiteboards in its classrooms, which allow teachers to project interactive computer images onto their traditional whiteboards.
