Malden Man Who Played Role In Murder Charged Again: Indictments
There were seven grand jury indictments with Malden ties in the past few months.

MALDEN, MA — There were seven grand jury indictments with Malden ties handed down between Nov. 21 and Jan. 16, Middlesex DA Marian Ryan said this week. The charges do not indicate a conviction.
Patrick Joseph, 32, of Malden, was charged with carrying a firearm without a license, subsequent offense, possession of ammunition without a license, subsequent offense, leaving the scene of property damage, unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, and being an armed career criminal (2 counts).
Joseph has already served prison time for his role in the 2009 shooting death of 21-year-old Samuel Berhane in a botched drug deal. He was also arrested following a 2013 foot chase down Salem Street for allegedly dealing heroin. Joseph's name pops up in other police logs as well.

Brian Casey, 46, of Arlington, was charged with violating a restraining order (2 counts).
Casey was indicted in 2017 on the same charges, though those charges included assault with intent to rape, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, aggravated burglary, assault and battery, breaking and entering in the nighttime to commit a felony, stalking, violating a restraining order (2 counts), and threatening to commit a crime.

Christian Flores, 32, of Malden, was charged with aggravated rape of a child (3 counts), rape of a child by force (3 counts), and indecent assault and battery on a person over the age of 14.
According to past arrest logs, this wasn't Flores' first run-in with the law.
Julius Sanders, 28, of Saugus, was charged with rape.
A Julius Sanders who was 23 five years ago was arrested for driving with a suspended license, but Patch couldn't confirm it was the same man.
Anthony Branch, 32, of Lynn, was charged with home invasion, assault with a dangerous weapon, breaking and entering in the daytime to commit a felony, larceny over $250, malicious destruction of property over $250, violating a restraining order, and being a habitual criminal (5 counts).
Phillip Brooks, 46, of Malden, was charged with assault with a dangerous weapon, assault and battery causing serious bodily injury, strangulation, assault and battery, and threatening to commit a crime.
Waltham
Miguel Interiano-Vivas, 32, of Malden, was charged with trafficking over 36 grams of cocaine and conspiracy to traffick cocaine.
