Malden Reads Night at Boda Borg

The program is hosting an event in a "real-world gaming environment" at Malden's questing center.

MALDEN, MA - Malden Reads is partnering with Boda Borg to give readers the opportunity to participate in a questing experience inspired by Andy Weir's novel The Martian.

The program is open to all Malden Reads enthusiasts and will tackle the year's themes of exploration and adventure posed by the novel.

Boda Borg is a questing center in Malden where participants break into teams and take on mental and physical challenges, moving on to the next round with each success.

The two-hour experience will be free to members of Malden Reads; family-friendly activities and refreshments will be offered in the main gathering area from 4 until 8 p.m. for folks not actively participating in questing.

Participants are asked to form teams of 3-5 people; individuals not in teams upon arrival will be assigned one.

Children under 12 must attend with a chaperone. Kids 7-8 years old must have a chaperone with them during the activity, while kids ages 9-11 can partake alone but require a chaperone in the building.
