Malden Uber Driver Allegedly Exposed Himself to Female, Arrested After Chase
It isn't the first time the 28-year-old Uber driver has been in trouble for such an incident.

A Malden man was arrested Sunday in Everett for allegedly exposing himself to a female - not the first time he's been charged with such an incident.
Paul Griffin, 28, was arrested after a police chase. He was arraigned Monday in Malden District Court. He is being held without bail.
A female on Sunday told Everett Police that a man in a gray Dodge Caravan exposed himself to her. She had reported a similar incident involving the same man before. The female provided police with a description of the vehicle, suspect, and plate number.

Police on Monday noticed the vehicle on Ferry Street near Glendale Park. Griffin allegedly tried to speed away when police approached him, driving the wrong way on Ferry and going down a dead end street before exiting the vehicle. Police say he was arrested after a foot chase.
Griffin was charged with open and gross lewdness, lewd and lascivious behavior, failure to stop for police and reckless operation of a motor vehicle. He has been banned from driving for Uber after being arrested.

This isn't the first such offense for Griffin, who was arraigned March 26 after allegedly exposing himself to two women near Downtown Crossing. Griffin was driving for Uber at the time, according to the Suffolk County District Attorney's office, though the victims were not passengers.
Earlier this month, an Uber driver from Boston was arraigned in Malden District Court and charged with raping a 16-year-old girl before dropping her off at school.
Everett Mayor Carlo DeMaria released the following statement on Monday:
“This is the second incident of Uber drivers assaulting women just in the last couple of weeks and we are still waiting for the Department of Public Utilities to implement new regulations requiring criminal background checks for Uber drivers. I once again call on the Legislature to go back into session. Amend this legislation to immediately require thorough background checks for all drivers, and require fingerprinting. Clearly, these drivers should be thoroughly vetted and they are not.
