Teacher Suspended for Porn Background Won't Return

Suspended Mystic Valley Regional Charter School teacher Kevin Hogan will not return as the head of the school's English department this year, after a Fox 25 news report last year revealed he had performed in same-sex pornographic videos

The school has long declined to publicly comment about the case, though school publicist Martin Gately told the Boston Globe's Matt Byrne that the issue had been "closed" Wednesday, without commenting on specifics. 

"He's not going to be teaching next year," Gately said. "It's a personnel matter that's been closed."

He said that the school was looking for a replacement.
